JasonR Posted June 12, 2007 Report Posted June 12, 2007 I've got a 2001 Stock Banshee...and I'm buying some exhaust for it. I'd like to go with the FMF Fatty pipes, but I'm not sure which silencers I should use. I also would like to get a jet kit...and I'll probably need some help with the jetting as well. I plan on running a K&N filter with some sort of dust shield. I do mostly dune riding at sea level...around 50-80 degrees. What pipes/silencers/jet kit should I go with!? Quote

You can't go wrong with FMF fatty pipes and powercore 2 silencers. You can get a K&N filter that you modify your stock filter to fit it in, or you can get a pro design adapter plate and filter which is what I would reccomend. Throw a 27.5 pilot in and probably 280 main jets. It will wake your bike up for sure. Quote

I just went to my dealer and bought the jets they're like 2.00 each or something. Any local small engine shop or stealership should have the whole kit with all jets, and you just buy the ones you want. Tell them you need 2 280 mains and 2 27.5 pilots for a mikuni 26mm carb for a banshee they should know what you mean. That setup will make your banshee into a whole new bike. Quote

Cool, I'll do that instead of getting the Dynojet kit. Do I need any other jets while I'm there? Quote
dekker Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 Do not go buy a Jet Kit for 50+ dollars its a waste of money. Like said before go to a local shop and tell them u want a cople 280 mains and some 27.5 pilots. Im guessing it will run u less than 15 bucks instead of spending the extra money. Save the money and buy more stuff to GO FASTER... and u will love the fatties good pipe great price Zach  Quote
