bentvalve Posted June 10, 2007 Report Posted June 10, 2007 i need some help guys! i bought a set of cpi's frpm jeff at fast.just got the engine in,so i am installing my cpi's.1 side(stator side) looks like it lines up pretty good. then i get to the water pump side man, i think i got 2 of the same side stinger.the hanger on the pipe is on the bottom. so im asking for some pics of your cpi's mounted with the hangers from cascade if you have them.. i just need some help..i can not post pics because im on my laptop and the big puter is down. but i took both stingers of and they are exactly the same. don Quote
Snopczynski Posted June 10, 2007 Report Posted June 10, 2007 we dont ever put the lower stinger bolt in, just the top one. We usually use cascade csfx silencers with those pipes since the cpi silencer is so loud. Quote

Handyman Posted June 10, 2007 Report Posted June 10, 2007 I don't have pics but I think the only thing that is side specific is the header pipes. When I laid mine out before I installed it the headers were the only side specific item in the entire exhaust system...If there are no pics added by the time I get home today I'll take some for you. bentvalve Posted June 10, 2007 Author Report Posted June 10, 2007 well it looks like to me that the tab that is welded on (rear hanger) are on the same side no matter what you do the tab is the same as the one on the stator side. i think some one screwed up and sent me 2 of the same side silencer. damn this is getting about anoying as buying parts for my race car... don Quote
