2strokinit Posted June 1, 2007 Report Posted June 1, 2007 i called toomey about mine blueing/purpleing...they said it is very normal for color change....they said it should only be about 5-7 inches from the start of the pipe.? anything further and it may be defective..replaceable? Quote

theshee Posted June 1, 2007 Report Posted June 1, 2007 Bare metal will do that. Some metal changes colors when it gets hot. My raptor pipe turned purple in 5 minutes of riding. I wouldnt worry about it. Quote
