OnlyA2Stroke Posted May 27, 2007 Report Posted May 27, 2007 I am getting ready to install the following: Pro Design Billet Impellar Pro Design Billet EZ Drain Water Pump Cover(w/ new bolts & gasket) Total: $111.90 Will I need the gasket for the Crankcase/Clutch cover? Also will I need the water pump bearing and seal? My bike is only a year old from brand new. I don't want to spend the money if I don't need to, because it is $40 for these extra parts. If I need these to be on the safe side let me know. Quote
5150banshee Posted May 27, 2007 Report Posted May 27, 2007 your gonna need the gasket for the drain plate,i would replace the seal and the bearing since your gonna be there the bearing and seal cost next to nothing.oh and the clutch cover gasket also if you's is torn up. Quote
ClimbAnyHill Posted May 28, 2007 Report Posted May 28, 2007 Do a search on Ebay for Banshee Gaskets. There's a $20 kit for all those gaskets + head & reed valve gaskets. You're eventually going to need all of them anyway! Quote
bonbon Posted May 28, 2007 Report Posted May 28, 2007 Spend the money and just get a full gasket kit, its a nice thing to have lying around just in case. If the gaskets are still good when you come apart, reuse them. If they start leaking, you have extras lying around and you can just replace them and not have any down time but the time to change them. Quote
