Ive been in your sitiuation before, where Ive heard a song and wished I knew who it was. I found it that if I listen to the song and search some of the lyrics in google I find the song most of the time. For instance I listened to this song and heard "battle cry tonight" so I typed this into google followed by the word LYRICS and it was the first link to pop up. Hope this helps.
