FireHead Posted April 29, 2007 Report Posted April 29, 2007  http://www.metacafe.com/watch/501379/remov...with_airduster/ I wonder if that will work on smaller dents? I am guessing that the thickness of the dented panel, the dent size, and ambient air temperature fave alot to do with how successful that process is. I may have to go try that on my truck this afternoon. Quote
RoostRocket Posted April 29, 2007 Report Posted April 29, 2007 i had paintless dent removal done im not sure of the process they used but it worked. Quote
Mullet Man Posted April 29, 2007 Author Report Posted April 29, 2007 i had paintless dent removal done im not sure of the process they used but it worked. most paintless dent removal is done with "spoons" IIRC. and i think it can only be done in certain areas, where the tools (spoons) can be insterted. i'm tempted to try the above method on my Toyota truck but i dont know, those keyboard sprayers are like $6 a can lol Quote
ClimbAnyHill Posted April 29, 2007 Report Posted April 29, 2007 Interesting.. I'm going to try that. I have a few dings on my car doors. Cool find! Quote
GFB Posted April 29, 2007 Report Posted April 29, 2007 That's a variation of an old trick to get hail damage out of a car. Let it sit outside and bake in the sun for a few hours and then throw a bucket of ice water on it. You'll hear some pop pop pops and it helps get rid of some of it. Quote
Bansh-eman Posted April 29, 2007 Report Posted April 29, 2007 u sure the pop pop pop isnt the ice hitting your car you just threw on it lol.... some with with a beatup car give it a shot... id like to see how well this actually works. it didnt ook like this guy did it on metal.. it looked more like that plastic bumper shit on cars now days Quote
FireHead Posted April 29, 2007 Report Posted April 29, 2007 it didnt ook like this guy did it on metal.. it looked more like that plastic bumper shit on cars now days That's an interesting point you bring up. I remember thinking, "what part of the car is that," while I was watching the video. :geek: Quote
okbeast Posted April 29, 2007 Report Posted April 29, 2007 That's definately not metal, you can see how much it flexes when he's cleaning it, still cool though... Quote
