got no camera avalable so i figured someone could explain it ....if not i guess ill have to get one when i get a chance

I assume the carbs are on the bike and you fon't plan on removing them any time soon. What sort of lettering or numbering can you see? Does wach carb have a choke knob? Do you still have an air box? What else has been done to your bike (at the very minimum we can tell you what you should have for carbs?

well the carbs say mukini.....thats the brand and the only numbers i found are 2gu and a 01 under that....also lookin at the left carb(left if sitting on the bike) i see a choke pull then down and a little to the right(about middle of carb) a screw and to the right of that a very small slightly angled screw.....does this make sense??????

It sounds linke you have a set of stock Mikuni VM26 carbs. They were what originally came on a Banshee. It also sounds like you have a TORS eliminator kit on them (do a search on this forum if you do not know what one is). The carbs you have are 26mm in diameter at the slide throat. If you post up what is modified on your bike we can probably give you an idea of what jets should be in there. Do you have any other questions? :geek:

when I got my carbs, I bought them used off ebay. they where "stock" mikunis but when I opened them up the were jetted 27.5/270 and bored to 28mm.

before porting I dont think over 28mm would be worth it.

so after porting(stage 1, nothing to major) what size carbs would be good????

stock would still suffice,. but would be complimented with some 28-30`s

ok ....so how much can a set of 26mm stock carbs be bored out to?? and is it as good as buying new ones of the same size???

I think 28mm is the biggest your supposed to go with stockers. doing that and buying new ones have different variables like brand, slide cutout, ect. If you can find bigger slides, thats cheaper, but Id just go and get 30`s and pods if you plan on porting.
