i have all the right e=machines..

You have a good welder, tubing notcher, etc.?

The only reason I ask is that if you had all the right equipment and skills, you might not be asking how hard it is to extend a frame.

welli have a friend welding it he a really good welder..tubing notcher good ole grinder lol.... becuase im taking it over to his this weekedn to see what we can do....just want some heads up..

I guess it also depends on you perception of quality work and how you are looking to extend the front of the bike. What do you have in mind exactly?

wanting to make it a drag bike. nothing majoir just want to extend the front 3in

My point was that there are alot of different ways to get more frame length out front. Can you post a picture of something similair to what you want?

yeah i will try to find on....i want to cut and extend it after the the motor mounts. but before the suspension...i will try and find one

Depending on how you want to do that, you may need some form of tubing bender. Post up a pic of what you like when you get a chance. I am sure between a few of us on here, we can figure something out to help you.

if I were to do it, for the bottom frame tubes, I think I wouldcut them, then plug it( a peice of solid stock that fits tight inside the frame) with a collar from a peice of tubing the same size as the frame. Im not sure what I would do on the top. I dont think I helped much as you probably already knew all that if you're even thinking about that kind of mod, or probably a better way to do it but.......just my .02

good luck
