Ozzy87 Posted April 15, 2007 Report Posted April 15, 2007 Do any of you guys run bar risers on your bike? How high of a riser do you think i can run with out having any troubles with cables or hoses? I was thinking i would put on a 2 or 4 inch riser. Thanks Quote
boonman Posted April 15, 2007 Report Posted April 15, 2007 I made my own stem and bar clamps to run Tag T2 bars (1 1/8" dia.). I rose the bars 4" over stock height I think. Cables were alright. Although, I have a braided line on the front brake line. Quote
LiftdT4R Posted April 15, 2007 Report Posted April 15, 2007 I have 1" risers on my bike, the $30 aluminum ones from ebay. I mainly got them to clear my OS tank, but I like them, it makes the bike easier to ride when standing up. 1" should do anything to the cables, it worked fine for me, it looks like you could still go up another inch or so and be fine.
