sand rocket Posted April 13, 2007 Report Posted April 13, 2007 I have some 34 mm taper bored to 36 mm mikuni carbs. For the life of me i cant get the sobs to quit leaking gas out of the over flow tubes. Leaks while riding and while sitting in the garage if i dont shut off the petcock. I took the needle valves out. Are the ends of them suposedt to be rubber coated to help seal? I have looked on both carbparts and sudco and have not read anything if they are or not. I plan to replace them. Anyware cheaper to get them from other than carbparts or sudco? Quote
fastrthnu Posted April 13, 2007 Report Posted April 13, 2007 could it have anyhting to do with your floats? did you check the height on them? Sometimes fuel willl leak from the crabs when the petcock is left on if they are off a tad. Quote
