Bairdy13 Posted April 11, 2007 Report Posted April 11, 2007 (edited) Hey guys, Just after a bit of advise with jetting. I currently run 220 mains, the clip 1 above centre, boyesen power reeds, redline air filter with the snorkel removed. I have a PD timing plate and impeller on there way. My altitude is about 200ft at home where I go for a small play when I only have a few hrs. Though most of my riding is around 2500ft to 3300ft. Should I re-jet every time I change my altitude? I know that may seem a stupid question though I Edited April 11, 2007 by Bairdy13 Quote
Bairdy13 Posted April 12, 2007 Author Report Posted April 12, 2007 Dial-a-jet? Yeah that is what I was thinking though will there be enough adjustment with them for this much altitude change and how well do they go with dust and water getting into the carb, I know you can get the snorkel kit though how well does it work? How much compression loss would there be from a compression tester that only screws in half way compared to one that is the correct size? Quote
