dangerous_banshee Posted April 9, 2007 Report Posted April 9, 2007 hey yall i was wondering if anyone new someone that is selling a top engine case or some were i can buy one one of my freinds was working on my engine for me and i gave him money to buy the parts and he was working and then we was going to split the case and forgot a screw and cracked the entire top engine case if anyone could help it would be grate! I've read multiple times that it's better to buy a matched set of cases rather than just replacing one of the 2. :shrug: Quote

YOU ALWAYS replace the engine cases as a MATCHED SET... When they are machined at the factory, they are sorted by lots & pairs and final machining is as a matched set. Please don't cause yourself unneeded problems by trying to prove that you can get by without a matched set. Quote
