Vforce 2 and stock boots

Hey guys this is a noob thing so bear with me.... i got a perfect set of vforce 2 s off ebay for $50 but when i went to put them on the stock boots wont fit because of the little wing dealies that stick out the back and go into the stock reeds so did i get screwed or do u need to run different intake boots with the vf2's ????? thanks

You need to use a razorblade to cut off the rubber tabs. Be careful, and take your time.

Nice thanks thats what i figured but i didnt wanna ruin them

Just make sure you get them nice and flush, so you dont develop an air leak.
