highroller355 Posted March 29, 2007 Report Posted March 29, 2007 , it had toomy t-5,air box no lid with with pro flow set up foam filter and foam outer wear, 2 - 33 pwk with 52 pilot 160 main 3rd clip on needle. it ran real good , might be missing alittle power but not much, also when cold starts rite away and can take choke off but whn warn 5-6 kicks to start ,i now have shearers inframes,no more air box ,2 - 6 inch cones with outer wears, i think k an n from fast i live in ny ,long island jets i have laying around, pilots -48's and 50's mains 162's , 165's and 168,s not sure if it make diffrence quick brake down of motor 4 mil long rod 396 - 398 cc stock head milled 25 thousandths 173 to 175 comp each cylinder agrresive port work boss racing intake v-force 3 reeds timing 4 1/2 to 5 cant remember exactly shearer in frames 2-33pwk's with 6 inch pods with outer wears thanks again in advance Quote
okbeast Posted March 29, 2007 Report Posted March 29, 2007 Definatley want to bump up some since you're going with the pods, but I've never done Shearers and they're a very top-end pipe so I'm not sure, probably throw the 165's in and do a plug chop. Quote

Jim at Passion said I didn't have to go up on the mains with the Shearers but definately had to go larger on mains with pods. I am running stock filters. Probably go up a couple of mains and do a plug chop. Quote
