I live in seaside ca. The wife and I ride often at Hollister. I ride the LTR450 and she rides the 250EX. I just recenetely picked up a banshee on craigslist. I'm a member on the ltr450hq site, so I figured there's got to be a site for banshee's so here I am.

I guess ride it when I don't feel like taken out the ltr. I like to have a little change of pace from time to time.

I haven't even riden it yet. I get it delivered Friday after 3. So I'm chomping at the bit. I would imagine it should be just as fast if not faster than my LTR. I have never ridden a shee so it will be a new experiance. The last 2 stroke I rode was when I was 15, so it's been a while to say the least. I see you ride alot at Hollister, we should hook up some time? I don't see that many 2 stroke's out there often. Probably cause the sticker crap!

Yeah but I have a green sticker so I can ride all year. Oh your banshee is going to kill your ltr in the power department unless your ltr is modded a whole lot.

 

And about Hollister, yeah I ride there a lot since I live in Hollister. There are also two guys on here in our area. One from Morgan Hill and one from Santa Cruz.

I just got back from there today. My bike wasn't hooking up worth a shit and I have a -2 swingarm on it. Your really not going to get any traction with the +4. I have a stock swingarm if you are interested. It will make your bike get more traction and handle better, but it will also wheelie more. You bike might have too much power for it though. Hope you have fun. Oh, and get some pics of that beast up on here...

Hey hollister I just rode it for the first time, The power band is CRAZY but down in the low end it's just not even with my LTR. By no means am I disappointed, it just comes on in the mid range unlike I'm use to! She is pretty bad though, in my limited opinion. I won't make it out there until after 1 or so though. I have less than 1/8 of a tank in the thing. I need to go up to the local speed shop and grab some 110 fuel and pre-mix oil for it. I hope I run into you there so you could help me judge this thing. Like I stated before it's my first banshee, an expert opinion would be cool.

Like I said before, I can't make it tomorrow. Yeah the power doesn't hit like a 450 that's for sure. Do you know what size of domes the cool head has cause you can buy different ones so you don;t have to use 110 octane. They sell 110 octane at Hollister Hills, $50 for 5 gallons. Also I am not an expert but it sounds like a bad ass shee. Have fun tomorrow and take some pics
