bigdaddy69 Posted March 28, 2007 Report Posted March 28, 2007 Help me out here guys. I've got 3 things on the list to buy and I dont know what to buy next, 1 being a cool head, 2 being different pipes, 3 being rear rims and paddles. I think the paddles should b last, as I wont use them that often, so do I go with a cool head or new pipes? My mods are listed in my sig. Thanks for the help fellas! Quote
Bansh-eman Posted March 28, 2007 Report Posted March 28, 2007 pipes will do more for your power... but if your only going to like t-5 you wont see much of a differance from th PC ... now if your gong like shearers then yes it will be night and day... Quote

bigdaddy69 Posted March 28, 2007 Author Report Posted March 28, 2007 I was thinking more along the lines of some used cpi's, I do about 50/50 trail and drag but I lean more to the drag side because IMO I dont always have to be WOT on the trails... I never really thought about reeds, but thats also a good suggestion. Quote
Bansh-eman Posted March 28, 2007 Report Posted March 28, 2007 reeds will improve your throttle respones for sure... no porting on your motor and no stroker? id say T-5 pipes are more suited for it then CPI... but poting is what will really bring out the monster inside that thing... Quote
bigdaddy69 Posted March 28, 2007 Author Report Posted March 28, 2007 just put my motor back together a couple weeks ago, had it ported by Jeff @ FAST Im pretty happy with the throttle responce for now, so it sounds like pipes are next? Quote

bigdaddy69 Posted March 28, 2007 Author Report Posted March 28, 2007 I got an agressive dune/play port Quote
Bansh-eman Posted March 28, 2007 Report Posted March 28, 2007 ummm you should be able to swing some CPI on there then... but know your going to lose your bottom end so bump that timing up if you havent already... either pipe will help.. i guess its all personal preferance now casue you got the right porting to both.... Quote
bigdaddy69 Posted March 28, 2007 Author Report Posted March 28, 2007 my timing is already at +4, Jeff told me to bump it to +5 since I dont have a cool head but I've been too busy to screw with it the last few days Quote
Bansh-eman Posted March 28, 2007 Report Posted March 28, 2007 yea once you get your cool head you can run smaller domes and that will help your rev getup there faster... id stick with pipes first ... you can get a cool head almost daliy off here or PS .... Quote
bigdaddy69 Posted March 28, 2007 Author Report Posted March 28, 2007 I agree cool heads are an everyday thing. Thanks for your help man! Quote
FASTOYS Posted March 28, 2007 Report Posted March 28, 2007 Brenten, in your case you really need a cool head more than you need any of those other things!! I also found I had a used head for sale for 155 shipped but still needs domes. Also a head or reeds will be cheaper than pipes. Quote
