TORS cable on thumb throttle assembley?

I bought a new thumb throttle to replace the twist that came on my bike. The TORS on my bike is removed. I assume all I have to do is tape that wire up and not use it. Am I correct? I'm in the middle of a new top end, so I can't try starting it to figure it out, otherwise I wouldn't be asking. I'd just like to know in advance. Thanks guys. :biggrin:

if everything is unplugged you dont need to tape anything unless you cut the connector of the ends.
