BIGONTS Posted March 24, 2007 Report Posted March 24, 2007 Getting my bike read to ride this year. I thought my clutch went out last year so I put a new one in with new heavy-duty springs. I installed everything and the clutch lever is not snapping back out. The spring is on the lever that connects to the case/clutch cable lever? What can it be? Also, the screw/nut adjuster thing in the middle of the hub, how does that get adjusted. I did plenty of clutches on street bikes, but this one is giving me problems. Thanks Quote
BIGONTS Posted March 24, 2007 Author Report Posted March 24, 2007 I kind of figured it out. After tightening all the spring bolt down, the center on adjusts how tight the clutch grabs. How much do I screw that center screw in? Just before the plate starts moving away from the clutches? or back it out half a turn before that so there's some slack? Quote
