dajogejr
I bought a complete front bumper to rear bumper stainless set off ebay for about 95 bucks shipped. They come with everything except the upper control arm bolts, foot peg bolts and swingarm pivot bolts. I got three kits, two banshee and one YFZ kit, so the guy cut me a deal, 280 shipped. But the kit from fastener guy is about 100 bucks shipped...for everything. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/YAMAHA-BANS...098329957QQrdZ1

I have taken apart a few banshee ans dont recall ever seeing any alum hardware. maybe it was disguised by the rust.

RNBRAD
Yea 16 dollars for that cheesy kit is a waste. Go with fastner guy.
FireHead
Yea 16 dollars for that cheesy kit is a waste. Go with fastner guy. I agree with the price vs. quality statement. With fasteners, you get what you pay for. I don't have anyexperience buying "bolt kits" though.
WALLACE84
I bought a set of stainless bolts from AlloyBoltz before the guy died and let me tell you, they were definatly worth the money. I dont know if someone else continued the company after the guy died though
theshee
I bought a set of stainless bolts from AlloyBoltz before the guy died and let me tell you, they were definatly worth the money. I dont know if someone else continued the company after the guy died though I think they have gone downhill after the new owner. My alloybolts kit sucks balls. The bolts just stretch and wont toruqe and the nuts are a joke. I wouldnt give you a dime for an alloyboltz kit. I am chaning all my alloybolts out because they just get loose and make shit leak all the time. Stock is the safe bet for most bolts. dajogejr
I've put together my front end and shock with fastener guy's kit. No issues at all so far.

Ex:cases, footpegs, etc. With the old owner of alloyboltz, he made everything fit perfect and not strip out. You could call him and he would talk about one bolt for an hour lol. Just as RNBRAD he knows
FireHead
Good fastener manufacturers are hard to come by sometimes. It may not be the guy who is assembling the bolt kits fault. QC is all over the place with fasteners, especially if they are made overseas. :geek:
