Cold the bike pumps up to 155 lbs with cut 18cc domes I have 6 degs of timing and I run 110 oct gas all the time. How much timing can i run with the hotrods crank and should i try cut 16cc domes. Bansh-eman Posted March 11, 2007 Report Posted March 11, 2007 16 cc is pretty extreme.... did you have the crank re-welded? the hotrods weld on thse arnt very good... Quote
FireHead Posted March 11, 2007 Report Posted March 11, 2007 I am not sure that I would go to 16cc domes unless your were going to run the engine on alcohol. 17cc might be reasonable to use but it really depends on where (altitude) and how you ride. Extremely high compression in a Banshee engine can tend to be pretty rough on the rotating assembly. Quote
BANSHEEB0B Posted March 11, 2007 Author Report Posted March 11, 2007 i live in oklahoma and its at 1100ft above sea. i have heard that when you do your comp test you hold the gas wide open and kick it 9 times is this right Quote
BANSHEEB0B Posted March 11, 2007 Author Report Posted March 11, 2007 with my setup how much power will i gain going to the cpi pips Quote

I am not sure where the number of times to kick it comes from. You can probably kick it three times and get a reasonable result. Quote
