I've been looking at the works A-T steeler dual rates. they're around $360 for the pair which is right in my price range....anywhere up to around $500. anybody have these shocks or know if they are worth it? Any input would help a lot, my first experience w/ aftermarket shocks. Quote

Hollister_Hitman Posted March 9, 2007 Report Posted March 9, 2007 The work are made from steel and the elkas aren't so they stay cool better. Also the elkas are ride height adj, I don;t know if the work are. The elkas are also upgradable so you can add on compression adj ressiez later on Quote

And yes, the works shocks do have ride height adjustment. :thumbsup: Quote

Hollister_Hitman Posted March 9, 2007 Report Posted March 9, 2007 yeah you should wait and buy the a-arms and shocks at the same time. Unless you buy the shocks right now for +2 a-arms but they will be stiff. But do not buy shocks for stock a-arms and then use them on +2s, it will be way too soft. I also suggest holding off till you can buy compression adj ones. That way the faster you get the stiffer you can set your shocks to be. You can get the elkas and then upgrade to compression adj ressiez like I said before though. I think that is the way to go if you are dying for new shocks. Quote
