your bearing are shot right? They were making a grinding noise before you took it apart? you are probally goingot to need a big f'in hammer and something put over the hub so that you don;t damage the threads on the axle.

wd-40 the $hit out of it and keep hitting. i had everything off my stock axle and was told if everythings off squirt it and beat it. took me 2 days to get it out. i was pissed. i dont know where the stock axle finally landed.

Good luck! What happens is after so long, the bearings wear out, and all the grease goes away, then they weld themselves to the carrier and the axle. I chucked mine, and bought a new one when I had to do them. The trick on the new one is to tap a grease fitting into the carrier, and grease it once a year.

 

You can try using A LOT of PB Blaster(way better then WD40). Also, if you have access to a hydraulic press that might do the trick.

I just thread the bolt all the way down on the end of the axle with the hub on, then I put the socket over the nut and knock the shit out of it with a sledge hammer 'till she submits. How bad is it bent? You may have to cut it off.
