I bought a 421 cheetah kit with new 35mm carbs, new outerwares and a 4mill hot rod crank. I don't know if my stock clutch will hold up. I also want to put a bigger swingarm to accomadate the power. Do I need an aftermarket clutch? If so what do you recomend I get? What brand and size swingarm is suitable for the power upgrade?

Need more info.

What kind or riding do you plan on doing. rider weight?

Yeah, cheetah or cheetah cubs, dunable override and lockup is damn near a must in order to take advantage of the motor....

I am only going to ride in the sand. I am about 240lbs. I got the cheetah from trinity and it is not a cub. I will run pump gas. Where can I get a good lockup and what brand swingarm do you suggest? I have heard lonestar swingarms are well built and a good price. What is a dunable override?

The only mods I am keeping are:

Toomey tr6s, until I can afford new pipes

Dyna fs ignition

I will have a bunch of stock parts for sale if anybody is interested.

Also a pro design coolhead a k&n powerlid and filter. Everything is in great shape.

Thanks for all the help!

I'm going to try and say this...without sounding like a smart ass jerk...so, please don't take offense.

I'm just basically giving it to you how it is...and 100% based on my own experiences.

Lonestar makes great swingarms....if you're filthy rich.

You can have a very nice and durable swinger built, for often half the price of theirs.

A good chromoly swinger can go from a few hundred bucks used to under 400, including chrome.

You already know those pipes will choke that motor....I'd be saving money by buying a used swinger, using the rest of the money for some CPI or Shearer pipes.

get a roundhouse swinger and carrier....way nicer to use and easier to adjust.

Jeff @ FAST racing has a good deal on lockup clutch and new cover (which you'll need with a lockup) and...you're going to want an override tranny as well.

Shifting a bike without an override on a lockup clutch will be damned near impossible...

The swingarm shop on Ebay makes nice units for a good price....
