any one else. I will also needing a new head. I would like to make it as reliable as posible too.

if you want it reliable i suggest a cool head to maintain a good operating temperature and go with 22cc or 21cc domes so you dont raise the compression to much.

Ebay for cheap used parts, sometimes pretty cheap new parts too.

Jeff @ FAST has pretty good pricing as well. He's no ebay dealer, but then again....you wont' get customer service like him on ebay.

Magic Racing in MI has a good price on a complete top end kit, about 159 for pistons, rings, clips, pins, bearings and ALL gaskets you'll need.

I'd bet my tail if you sent your cylinders to Jeff for boring, he'd give you just as good a price on the top end kit...and he can probably get you a good price on a crank, stroker or stock stroke.

If you're gonna do a stroker/long rod crank, now is the time. You have two options with OEM cylinders.

A. Get long rod pistons pistons (795 series Wiseco), get stroker domes cut for a cool head, and get the porting matched. (Best case)

B. Get long rod pistons and run a spacer plate on the bottom. (2mm thick) Never been a fan of spacer plates, one more place to leak.
