Hey guys, for my senior design (mechanical engineering @ st martins university) we are doing SAE Mini Baja. I've been riding and building stuff like this since i could walk, but i just wanted to see if i could get some feedback from you guys. We have a forum (8 strong now haha) that we post all updates on and it would be really cool if anyone wanted to take a look at what we have to get an outside point of view. The website is http://homepages.stmartin.edu/orgs/SDME06B/

If anyone has anything they would like to comment on, feel free to join the forum or pm me. If you would like to find me on the forum, my name is randy and i am the project manager. Thanks

I have done the exact same thing. We started with two guys our first year in 1999.

Above is the link to the program where I was the team leader for a few years.

I'll have a look over your website in a bit, as I have to go do a bit of work. The PVC mock up is an excellent first step. Ity doesn't look like you have much in the way of a shop there. What material are you using for the frame? Which competition(s) are you guys going to (West, Midwest, East, Mexico, South America, Austrailia)?
