T11 Posted February 10, 2007 Report Posted February 10, 2007 (edited) hello, before i begin, excuse my poor english since it's not my first language and i am not that familiar with the exact names locations of the parts like (jetts, pilot needle ... etc) so here i go. i bought a used banshee for about 1100$ so you can imagine the condition it's in. currently i have T5 installed and i am thinking of getting K&N filters plus a vforce reeds. what adjustments should i make to the main needle, jetts, ... etc? currently with the T5, when i accelerate, it goes little slow then after few seconds (i don't know how to describe it) it gets a boost and accelerates really fast! what's the problem & should i solve this problem before i add the reeds and filter? thanks in advance. wesw Posted February 10, 2007 Report Posted February 10, 2007 uae would guess sea level. jetting wise. 4th clip on the needle from the blunt end, and 330mains. would be a good start. this is for the pods, and reeds with t5s. Quote
T11 Posted February 10, 2007 Author Report Posted February 10, 2007 yes wesw, it's see level here, thanks for the help i'll just have to wait for the shops to open then ... Quote
T11 Posted February 11, 2007 Author Report Posted February 11, 2007 ok, i got the vforce 3, (163$) do i have to cut any portion of the reed valve (i am using the oem carbs)? because this guy is telling me that it's not gonna fit without cutting a small portion of it! which doesn't make sense for me since its made for the banshee! i've seen those pods (Twister) is it any good? or is it better than K&N? dajogejr Posted February 11, 2007 Report Posted February 11, 2007 Never see or heard of a twister air filter, got any pics? Yes, the stock intakes have a rubber V on them that actually goes into the motor, these will have to be shaved flat for the VForce to work. Quote
