race-a-holic Posted February 16, 2007 Author Report Posted February 16, 2007 I'm going to get the 250 trailblazer modified first.Maybe I should say "blasters beware".LOL! I already have a mildly ported cylinder, wiseco piston, and gaskets. I bought a Ritter pipe, silencer, and clutch spring yesterday. I still have a few more parts to get,but I hope to have it going in several weeks. I'll be putting the aluminum rims on it,and I have some 4-snows out in my shop for it too. Not sure when the 400 will be going.I have to get the 250 going first just incase good riding weather "ever" gets here. Quote
scuba147 Posted February 16, 2007 Report Posted February 16, 2007 sport 400 polaris is what i ride all winter and in extreme muddy conditions. I even plow snow with it in the winter. I haven't touched it except for a starter 2 years ago. Polaris makes relieable quads i think. Mines bone stock and may be adding some goddies on it one day. Keep us updated-thanks Quote
kawiking Posted February 16, 2007 Report Posted February 16, 2007 the baddest polaris i seen was polarisfreak(atvconnection forum) !!!! he sold his parts to guy in louisiana. Quote

Keep us updated-thanks I have heard numerous times about a stock 400 piston. They are bad about breaking the skirts.Everyone I've talked to has said to replace the stock piston with a wiseco. Both the 400 and 250 will be getting one. Quote
kawiking Posted February 17, 2007 Report Posted February 17, 2007 i know that ced built his own drag frame for it. looked good!!! Quote
ravenous 2 Posted February 19, 2007 Report Posted February 19, 2007 i know that ced built his own drag frame for it. looked good!!! race, i would go with the hpd secondary clutch way better than stock on the 400 keep the stock primary havent seen very much results on changing it. you need to come to big river this year there is a polaris there that will impress you. race-a-holic Posted February 19, 2007 Author Report Posted February 19, 2007 That's probably either ced or dune-a-holic. Is it mostly yellow or red? I will be getting a spring with the kit I bought. I'm hoping to be able to get my wife's Jimmy paid off soon and have a little money left over.Hopefully with that I can get the TB finished for now.At least enough to get it going. If I can,I would like to make it down there this year.Looks like alot of fun. Quote
