i just gave a 2004 harness to my friend , i will see if he still has it.

you probably could make your stock harness work , there are extra wires going to the tail light and from the front and rear switches , i think the front master is different on the 2003 and up , look up a wiring diagram for the newer models , the newer repair manuals should have it . it might just be easier to get a new harness from yamaha ,

i looked it up and a new harness from yamaha is 100 bucks and the rear brake switch is like 30 more , probably find it alot cheaper on ebay

clymers repair manuals have all the wiring diagrams , if you get the latest edition it probably has the newer wiring diagrams in it , maybe you could goto their website ? im sure you could just add wires for the harness because the stator is the same . then you just have to get the switches.

i will see if my friend is using the harness today and i will let you know.you can find them cheap on ebay , probably easier than rewiring your harness
