I recently put a DM boost bottle on my quad, It had FMF fatty 2 pipes and silencers and a stock air cleaner. My question is now it doesn't want to hold at a set RPM if i am crusing it will start to bog then the enging will rev back up and repeat and also back fires on the right pipe. If i am running through the gears at full go it runs like a beast with no problems. Any suggestions would be awesome. Gonna be at munster for the first time next week and really would like to be at 100%.

I have 260 jets in it now and i am not sure what position my needle is at. I never had a problem with it until now in the 3 yr's i have had it. And as far as air leaks go i am pretty sure that i don't but not sure on that one either. I went for a night ride this last tue night and that when it started and i haven't had the time to mess with it. Could it also have been the fact that i live in texas and it is normally hot as hell and it was about 25 degrees that night. I know that temp has to do with jetting but i am not sure that it would make it do that?

yeah you might be lean. pull you plugs and look at them if they are white or very light your lean.

For one, ditch the boost bottle. Worthless. At 25 degrees out, your lucky you didn't cook your motor w/ 260 mains...Your way too lean for those temps...That jetting would be good to about 50 at the coldest...Throw in some 300's if your gonna keep running below freezing and some 280's from 40-60 degrees out. Move your needle to the 5th clip for stock reeds and 4th clip for aftermarket reeds. Let us know how you make out.
