KingSpade Posted January 30, 2007 Report Posted January 30, 2007 (edited) ok now i have never had to seek help on a jeeting issue (if that is what this is) but i put dmc 916's, a dynojet stage 3 kit and tors removal on yesterday. all the power and snap is there but late in 3rd i pop. i have a k&n filter on without the lid. my mains are 280's needle is on 4th groove with stock pilots. it seems to be smoking more than it should in my opinion. i havnt checked the plugs yet since they were the ones that were in it when i bought it so i will start with new plugs and go from there. carbs are synched. anything i should consider or look at when i take it out tomorrow? i did buy an airbox lid and i am going to cal dmc tomorrow and ask them if i need the lid with the k&n. another concern is how much air it is sucking, you can hear it plain as day, maybe sucking too much air?? let me know what you guys think. thanx in advance! wasnt getting much help in the jetting and exhaust are so thats why i posted here too. i was also wondering how to do a plug chop, never done one before Edited January 30, 2007 by KingSpade Quote
