I really don't know.. Has to do with emmissions?? Think the 02' Banshee was the last Green Sticker.. We have some of the dumbest laws here.. We don't have the brightest governer either LOL!! Animalman294 Posted January 28, 2007 Report Share Posted January 28, 2007 Yes, it was '02 that the California DMV in its infinate wisdom picked to be the cut off year for emissions on a bike that hasn't changed for 19 years in the states. I guess the emissions laws changed and lowered the standards and all bikes made after '02 didn't meet the new criteria, so they were red tagged.
