3 Posted January 11, 2007 Report Posted January 11, 2007 My bar feel a bit low, i was thinking of rising it like the MX guys. What do you guys use other than a longer steering tube?? I was thinking of cutting that tube and make it longer, anybody ever did it?? Quote

boonman Posted January 11, 2007 Report Posted January 11, 2007 I made my own steering stem. I also made a new bar clamp setup that bolts to the new stem. I then ran Tag T2 bars. Raised the bars about 4" from stock. I love it Quote

I got a protaper kit from Magic Racing, it bolts over the top of your stock clamps...and got CR High bend bars.... Wasn't to expensive.... Quote
3 Posted January 11, 2007 Author Report Posted January 11, 2007 Boonman do you have pictures of that 4 inchs mod? I have my idea of how to do it. Cut the stem had a machined peice that fit inside and a tube peice that fit over all this, weld it all, is it how you did it?? Quote
