There was a company in NY that would chrome them for you if you had an extra set, or sent yours to them. They are called Chrome Dynamics. I do not know if they are still in business, if not you can look up Vacuum metalizing, that is what the process is called to chrome or give a metal like surface to plastic.

yes but it has to withstand 165 degrees and i dont know if that thin plastic will handle it.
