Infamous039 Posted December 8, 2006 Report Posted December 8, 2006 (edited) What should my jetting be at now that it is colder outside like 40 degrees and below. I am at 300 mains right now and it has been that way through the summer, in which I was a little rich. By the way I have stock carbs. MY mods are listed below. Infamous039 Posted December 8, 2006 Author Report Posted December 8, 2006 I know somebody has some advice Quote
okbeast Posted December 8, 2006 Report Posted December 8, 2006 What's the normal temps you ride in? I'd say probably go up 2 mains, maybe make a little air screw adjustment if you have trouble starting it. Quote
Infamous039 Posted December 8, 2006 Author Report Posted December 8, 2006 I rode in hot temps all summer all the way up to now, in which my bike was rich. It starts fine and runs now but I just dont want to blow it up from being to Lean. Quote
okbeast Posted December 8, 2006 Report Posted December 8, 2006 Well if the temps didn't change that much you may be fine, but you know it's always safest to do a plug chop just to make sure. Quote

dajogejr Posted December 29, 2006 Report Posted December 29, 2006 I'd say 310 in the main at most....320. 280ish is the average for airbox and pipes, no lid. If you have to turn the air screw in to less than 1/2 turn out for off idle response, you MIGHT have to go larger on the pilot...but, with an airbox you should be ok. Yeah, plug chop it...and make sure you warm it up properly before going for a rip.... Quote
