kandkshee Posted December 5, 2006 Report Posted December 5, 2006 i had an 04 shee with new 450 shocks down at little sahara dunes in OK my first time down their was racingmy buddies yfz up the back side of butter cup and decided not to stop :shoothead: well to make a long story short i landed 10 feet from the bottom on a nose dive and it resulted in a new ride on a helacopter to kansas hospital and the end result 60k later was shattered ankle and leg missing front teeth thanks to the stem brain contusion and brain hemerage and the worst part my shee the left side a arms and shock were seprated from the frame and the shock was broke in half at the shaft the bumper was flat with the radiator one of the wheels was twisted and the axle was bent bad the only thing i salvaged was one of the shocks but insurance rules and i now ride a 99 with elkas Quote

You ever have thoe dreams like that when you jump off something that you fell like your never gunna land I bet thats how you felt huh. Man I cannot immagine what that felt like. btw I feel sorry foe u having to pay the medical bills on that one. BUT hving to pay medical bills is a good thing it means your alkive to pay them and that you can ride again :beer: (baraing that you did not become paralized) and im sure they have ways aroun that as well :biggrin: Quote

sandmouse Posted December 6, 2006 Report Posted December 6, 2006 Call me crazy, but where's buttercup at LS? its the tallest dunes out there. if you go i know you'll find em. i havent been out there since they put 2 campsites in. call me old. anyway the old campsite you go out. hang the fenceline to the right and go to the corner make a left and keep on going straight. unless the fenceline changed since i'v been there 12 years ago.
