there "perfect jet kit" says to use those uni vents. Will it work if i just take the lid off and run it without the vents? 280Main

If you run without the lid, you are going to have to stay out of the water. Once you run the bike you still need to do a plug check, because there is more air flowing in without the lid on............. :beer:

You would have to run fatter jetting w/o the lid. You might be lean with the 280 main w/o the lid.

If its a stock air box the lid holds the filter on. No lid, no filter.

Pickup an adapter plate and a k&n and go 300 or 310 on mains.
