I need to know the torque specs for putting the cases together. There are different torque specs for the upper and lower screws. Thanks for the help.

The bottom nuts i torque at 20 ponds and the ones on the top i just give them a good snuge :biggrin:

do a search there is every spec you need....

 

8 for the top

20 for bottom

 

 

straight from the clymer's manual.... they want the initial 3 1/3 ft-lbs bottom then top, then 7 ft-lbs second time, all while following the number sequence as stamped on the cases.

 

i then tightened them down to about 20 lbs and made sure they were all nicely even and tight.

yeah i seen the top should have been at 7.4 but i just did 8...better i bit over than under.... :thumbsup: yes remeber to follow the case numbers... youll be good to go....

18 and 8 for top!
