Jetting help with K&N pod filters

Hello Guys,

 

I have a banshee at sealevel.

 

Stock pipes, Noss coolhead w 20cc domes, lid off and now bought some POD filters.

 

I now have a 240 main jet, air screw 0.5 turns out, needle on 4th position from the top.

 

Will the main be big enough or do I have to put in a 260 or something because with the lid off I went from 200 to 240 and I had to turn the airscrew in to 0.5 turn out?

You may need to go up a little on the main, but since you still have stock pipes you're not really able to push more air through, just pull more in. You're really killin your performance with the stock pipes too.

I would think 240 or 250 would be a good starting point. The fact that you are at .5 turns out on your airscrews indicates you need to go up on pilot size.

I will have my trinity pipes soon.

 

Had to sent them back due to fitting problems.

 

Then I put in a 310 main.
