They don't really do anything, it's basically one of the many snake oils when it comes to bikes. This has been discussed a lot, try searching on here and Yahoo, for the exact explanation of it's may downfalls, it has also been dicussed in great detail on a number of other forums also various web pages. The conclusion drawn from pretty much every source is that amp links are junk. Quote
