odaen Posted November 3, 2006 Report Posted November 3, 2006 im one of those guys who has a habit of pulling the clutch in while decelerating. im wondering whats all involved with putting a pancake bearing inplace of the ball? where exactly does the bearing go, before or after the basket? it takes the place of the stock clutch adjustment that snugs the pressure plate up to the clutch disks. to install, all you need to do is pull off the pressure plate, replace the stock adjuster with the pancake bearing assembly. put some gear oil on the bearings before you install it to give the bearings some initial lube.
