on the 10th of oct im buying a shee bored 20 over ,great condition i kno both of the owners but theres only 1 problem the throttle sticks. Ive heard that it might be the carbarator or the needles but i would lik advice thank you

The cable might not be roughted correctly. If it isn't the part of the cable that splits into 2 will hang up a lot. Also the slides could be getting stuck. If that is the case all you have to do is take off the gas tank and untwist the top of the carb. Then jsut clean the slide with some spray on parts cleaner.

 

Does it still have the t.o.r.s?

check your cable if it doesnt slide ez lube it up and try again ... if it is coming apart inside get a new one... check your needles make sure they arnt bent... check your grip if the plastic tube on the twist is too far on your grip will touch the bar and make it stick....

honestly i couldnt tell you anything about it,im seeing it tommarow in its entirity since it was rebuilt ,luckly my father was a mechanic in the military for 22 years so i should do ok...its kinda his fathersday/bday presant

If it has stock carbs...loosen up the tops and tighten them by hand, use the L Bracket hold down to keep them tight. If you use an adjustable wrench to tighten down the carb tops....it can cause them to stick....
