Toomey Banshee Posted October 5, 2006 Report Posted October 5, 2006 Well, was out Sunday with the boys at the local pit. Real good area to drag. Good spot to ride, some nice trails, pits and some jumps. Anyway, my oldest son starts draggin some guys on worked 450 Hondas and a YFZ. Hangin with them, winning some, losing some. Not bad, these guys have some real loot tied up in their engines, not to mention pipes etc. His bike is just play ported with 33's and SST's, stock head, pump gas. I see no need to race anyone, I smoke his quad and have not lost in there yet. BY FAR. So I'm cookin some dogs on the grill on the tail gate of my truck when the boy comes and asks to use my quad. No problem. Gonna show em a real good ass kicking I'm thinking at this point. (Man I'm an idiot) I keep cooking and watch. HE FRIGGIN LOSES! ON MY QUAD!!!! About 3 in a row. He parks it and says its not running right, takes his quad and goes on a trail ride with my youngest on their Banshees. Well I start stewing. I take my quad out in the drag area and rip about 10 runs off. Running pretty good I thought. My kid and the Hondas and YFZ come back, see me ripping around and we line up. I LOST EVERY DRAG!! Not bad but about a half of bike to a bike. I promptly take my POS over and fire my goggles on the ground, in private (I thought) and start packing up. My sons bud said he witnessed the melt down and and I told them both we shall never speak of it again. Just kidding. Well its over Johnny. Cub city. Been reading for a solid 2 straight days on Cheetahs, Cubs, stokers. The lot. I'm still pissed. And still reading. :ninja: *Quick note* I'm not an alky burining, slammed shee nor do I race them. I'm your typical ported, well maintained, properly set up shee with a decent rider. In 4 years I can count how many times I lost on this shee with 3 fingers, all to my brother in law. Quote
