Lowering the front...

In the next month there is a race on asphalt and I want to lowering my shee(Front and rear).For the rear I have a ajustable lowering strut.But for the front I see that on ebay Lowering front kits they look good but I have +2 +1 a-arms and I think that will not fit, my shocks will hit the upper arms... Any of you have other idea for drop the front?

What almost all experienced flat track guys do is they get a set of shorter front shocks. For my banshee I put a set of Works AT steelers on. Works great, you can even adjust the shock so you can set the ride height. Those front lowering brackets retard the shock angle, therefor not achieving the best performance. Also you might consider a sway bar, these make a big difference in handling, vers. not having one. Hope this helps

I have 2 inch wider arms on my shee and the lowering kit also shocks clear upper arms just fine

Ok thanks guys.I have a LSR sway bar, for the shocks your idea to put shorter front shocks are good.I dont want to spend big money just for 2 or 3 supermotard races..Chase 300ex shocks fit bolt on on banshee a-arms?

the 300ex shocks bolt straight into position on the banshee and lowers the front by a good amount, ive got a set for flat trakkin.

i run yamaha blaster shocks on my drag she ,you can buiy them for 20$ all day on ebay .drops here a good 2 inches and theyre stiffer than 300ex shocks ,also its a direct bolt up in 10 minutes no spacers ,shims ,adjusting or monkeying around . :beer:

Nice I want stiff more possible shocks for supermoto.I will look on ebay for blaster shocks.
