Need some help from all you racers out there

Hey guys, there is a Drag racing event here in Illinois that is put on a couple times a year. The thing is, the conditions of the track are fucking horrible. I mean deep ruts, run outs, etc etc, to the best of my knowledge this track has not been groomed since i started racing there nearly 3 years ago. Ive got some prtty nice shocks on my shee and i bounce all over that track, I witnessed a riged frame snomoquad bounce about 18 inches off the ground hitting one of the bumps in the strip! The conditions of the track are flat out unsafe and we riders have to much time and money invested in our machine to risk them at a track of this poor quality, not to mention our own well being. Some of us tried earlier in the year talking with the president of the club who puts the event on expressing our concern, AND NOTHING WAS DONE, NOTHING. They told us they have the equpipment, just no time. Well this was months ago, and last weekend at their latest event, you guessed it not a damn thing. All im asking is you take a few seconds to sign this petition demanding they improve the track safety thanks

work great when the conditions get rough.

My banshee is really smooth even in whoops.

I'd bet if everyone stopped going there, and made it clear this is the reason...he'd find all kinds of time to groom it.

 

Do you pay to ride there? That is just unnacceptable. Boycott the track...that will get things going.

Yes we do pay, $5 gate fee, $15 for the first class, and $10 for every other class. We plan on boycotting the track, but I thought this would be a good idea so he could see exactly how many racers he is losing by not takiing the time to groom it.

Yeah, unfortunately it sounds like you've exhausted your other resources...hit him in the wallet, that will send the message....

well whatever he choose.... i wouldnt race there until its totally fixed because that is a recipe for disaster when your accelreting like a madman down a rutty shiity track on a drag banshee no matter how good the shocks are .sounds like he wants you guys to get paralyzed/killed and lose everything hes ever worked for in a expensive lawsuit .
