Jhughes7 Posted September 22, 2006 Report Posted September 22, 2006 Well I am gonna put my bike away for the winter and i was wondering, whats the easiest way to drain the gas tank, I dont want the fuel just sitting in it for 8 months. also my bike is gonna be stored in a dry and heated basement, any special measures I should take to ensure iti doesnt rust or anything like that. ClimbAnyHill Posted September 22, 2006 Report Posted September 22, 2006 Under the gas tank, the valve on the left hand side. Turn it off. Follow the hose leading to top of the carb. Disconnect the hose. Turn valve on. Gas runs out. I feed it that hose into my gas jug hose. Quote
