I got a 99 banshee that i wanna start riding mx with...i wanna keep up wit the 4strokes but i dont know what mods to do? i kno its gonna be hard but i wanna stick with my shee.

its got toomey t5, jet kit boost bottle. keep in mind im lite so i dono how much power i need and traction would be a problem with alota power i think.

i kinda wanna keep to cost down a bit. wat u guys think?

I am doing the same thing to my banshee right now. Are you going to do organized racing? I bought some +2+1 arms with elkas and a -2 swing arm. I just need to order a rear shock and a +4" axle now. How much money are you looking to drop?

you dont have to have tons of power just get good suspension under you and youll be fine. i am getting into mx also and every body on here tells me that dont worry about the motor and just get good shocks.

Yeah mine is all stock even the exhaust.

well...if i get good enough i'll do organized but im from PA n there arent many atv tracks around plust its expensive...i'd like to keep it around 1g for the setup...i duno if thats possible tho...maybe i'll find some stuff on ebay?

Ebay is a good start. Start with the suspension and do the mods that don't cost anything.

$1000 = yfz450 front shocks, a=arm,rebuilt rear shock
