bertski077 Posted September 17, 2006 Report Posted September 17, 2006 i have a banshee that is smokin out of the right pipe...it idles high n breaks up on the top end. however...my carb cap is coming loose...i think that it might throw my air/fuel off n give it a air leak(obviously) if you hiit the gas it jerks the hole cap. i dont know maybe some suggestions? also i removed the components to the tors but still have the big boxes on the top of the carb...when i adjust the idle screw it doesnt seem to do much b/c i cant go all the way in so the bolt will stop turning almost like its stripped. i duno gimme some help would be appreciated. Bill Posted September 17, 2006 Report Posted September 17, 2006 Check to see if the slides are in sync by taking off the air filter, look down the throut and use A flashlight.Make sure they rise and fall at the same time, and have the same gap all the way down.Leave A good 1/8 in to start with then adjust both the same for desired idle. And them tors will be nothin but A headake untill you get rid of them.
