b33rs Posted August 12, 2006 Report Posted August 12, 2006 (edited) Ok, my question is what would be a good dragging tire? As of now I'm running a 20x10x10 hauler 8 paddle on a ITP T9. And for power just Rockets, K&n and V3's. Now, I'm sure power will have something to do with it, and my future plans is to go to a Cub. But for only dragging, what would ya suggest? tire? paddle? rollout? size? would running a smaller size rim help my cause or would the 10x10 be better? also, most of the dragging we do is up hill. Any info would be much appreciated. Edited August 12, 2006 by b33rs Quote
walk72 Posted August 12, 2006 Report Posted August 12, 2006 the bigger rim you go with the more it weights, 10" rims are bad for draggin, also what kind of draggin are you doin. Hill Shootin or flat drags. Flat drags you want more paddles as long as your bike can handle it, hill shootin you want less paddles to keep your wheel spin up. A 22x11x8 8 paddle is pretty good. Unless your bike can't handle it, then maybe a 21x11x8. There is alot more factors that go into this. but maybe this will get you started Quote
bansheeseat$$ Posted August 12, 2006 Report Posted August 12, 2006 I would suggest runing what you got now until you get a cub and then go with a set of ultra buff with at least 12 paddle and 72" run out, Quote
