Stock gearing, get steel sprockets, they last longer...and get a DID or RK X Ring chain.

Call Jeff @ Fast, he sells chain by the foot...

If you have the extra money, get a set of sprockets and chain from Sidewinder. Yes, they're pricey, but they're nearly twice as strong as the next best chain...

Just changed my gearing from dune setup to road setup. Dune setup is 14/43 with a 122 length chain. These gears were too deep for road running. Went to a 15/42 and took it out on the neighborhood streets a half hour ago and what a big improvement. Starting in first gear is useable but still deep. Am running 18-11-8 Holeshots in the rear, was thinking about going to a taller tire but don't think I need to now. Can't wait to get it out on the logging roads and run my buddies 700 Kawi. Mods include 426 stroker, milled head, PWK 35 Airstrikers, T 5's, +6 swinger.

Oh yeah...for a stroker motor, which I'm sure is ported and big carbs, etc., that gearing is fine, especially with 18 inch tires for the road...

But this guys bike is stock except for pipes and a K&N, and...I don't see it mentioned what size tires he has, either...
