I just got the head shaved, the port work and the pods. I installed everything on the bike and it ran great except it would bog some times off the start and didn't like to idle. I pulled the plugs and they were oily black. I figured it was running rich, so I dropped the jet needle back one clip to lean it out a little. I was on the middle clip prior. I Reinstalled the carbs and now I cant get the damn thing to start. Should I have went to a smaller main? If so I am confused because with the port, head, and pods shouldn't I have to go to a bigger main, instead of a smaller one? I am not sure what size is in there now, Ill wait to here some responses from the HQ brainiacs before I pull the carbs apart. Also I usually get beat by a piped and jetted yamaha 450-is it me or the bike?
